From Seward we drove north 300 miles to Denali National Park (formerly Mt. McKinley National Park).
I thought this was a very picturesque water wheel along the road.
The entrance to the park.
Denali Park covers 6 million acres in the shadow of Mt. McKinley. It is home to grizzly bears (shown here), arctic squirrels, caribou, red fox, ptarmigans, moose, as well as billions of mosquitoes.
This caribou was hanging around near the road just for us visitors to take pictures of.
That's all for this trip. Next year, who knows!
